Its all very well being great surrounded by great players. IMO, at his time at West Ham Noble has fought well in there surrounded by lesser players. With Kouyate and people around him actually making runs for him to pick out (Zarate), we could see him shine.

Think people miss that he gives our team always give an outlet to all the other players around him.
He always wants the ball and bet his pass completion is the highest in our team .

Kouyate will only be here a Season he looks awesome, Noble will always look a better player when we have players who move and make runs ala the Tevez era

Aslong as you have leaders on the pitch a captains job is pretty irrelevant. So like Nolan if you aren't pulling you're weight and others can cover it's no issue.

Noble was nothing special today, just his usual honest self.
Koyoute on the other hand will be gone next summer to a bigger club, as he looks a player and a fantastic signing, along with cresswell.

Coz the fat man will alway's pick Nolan ahead of the other 10,we alway's play a more expansive game when Nolan is missing and more often than not end up winning,Nolan is the big problem,but then we all know that(except the fat man of course).

He wasn't all that today but he did a job. Fact is he's at best an average premier league midfielder. No shame in that by any means, I wish I was one. Too often though the views on here about him become polarised with claims about him being fit for England, whilst others would see him in League 2.
He's average and on an off day below average.

Let's not go overboard, he was decent but nowhere near in Kouyate's class who between him and Zarate should have been MoM .
I hope Kouyate's contract doesn't have a release clause. Early days but he could be a top player
